Self-exclusion
Is a legislated program where a punter can apply to be excluded from gambling activities in certain gambling establishments, as a result of problem gambling. The exclusion period ranges from six months to life. Excluded patrons cannot engage in any form of gambling during this period. Counselling is offered through the National Responsible Gambling Programme (0800 006 008).
It is aimed at assisting problem gamblers to exclude themselves from gambling activities.
